Travel and lodging information for WUCT

LOCATION

Teams should plan to check in at Danforth University Center (DUC) on the Washington University in St. Louis Danforth Campus on the morning of the tournament. The DUC’s address is 6475 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63105.

Lunch will occur in the DUC. The Opening and Closing/Awards Ceremonies will be held in Graham Chapel. The Individual and Topic Rounds are typically held in large lecture halls. For the Team Round, teams are assigned to classrooms in buildings across WUSTL’s campus. The Breaking Bonds Round is held in a large event space on campus.

By car:
We are located on the Danforth Campus and there is parking available. Volunteers will be present to assist teams in finding parking spots. Teams often use taxi to arrive to check-in; if so, direct the driver to Danforth University Center.

By plane:
The closest airport to WashU is Lambert International Airport in St. Louis. Teams can drive from Lambert to WashU in approximately 20 minutes; otherwise, teams can use the Metrolink train.

By train:
Teams can take Amtrak from Chicago and other cities to St. Louis. Teams can use the Metrolink to travel between the airport, hotel and campus. The Big Bend Station and Skinker Station are the nearest to WUSTL.

LODGING

Teams are responsible for their own travel costs. However, we have a WashU rate flyer with Drury Inn & Suites that provides a discounted cost. Teams can book at any of Drury Inn & Suites' St. Louis hotels and receive a discount. Teams can book anytime (the sooner, the better) and can cancel reservations with no penalty up to noon the day prior to arrival.
